Midweek adventures are just what the doctor ordered!
Our Midweek Kayak Tours are designed to start your day on the water and connect you to the best of West Marin.
We've tailored our kayak tours and created a themed suggestion for each weekday based on local spots and experiences we love and regularly recommend. More on that below.
These pairings are not included in your kayak booking, just ideas to help you build a full day around your paddle based on what's open and what's awesome.
Each experience may have a featured day, but most are open beyond that. Explore one, explore a few, or see how many you can fit into a single day. We fully support that energy.

Start the week off with a 3-hour kayaking tour on Tomales Bay and then head to The Marshall Store for oysters, sandwiches, and local water buffalo gelato on soft serve. (Don't forget to try their chowder & smoked salmon!)
$135 (Kayak Tour Only)
Kayak Tour: 10-1pm
Marshall Store: Typically open until 3pm

Start your day with a 2-hour kayaking tour to the oyster beds of Tomales Bay. Make it a full day and book "The Whole Hog Experience" Farm Tour at Hog Island Oyster Co. after the kayaking tour to explore their farm and learn how oysters are grown and farmed, learn to shuck oysters like a pro, take a deep dive into oyster tasting, and enjoy a light chef’s tasting at their outdoor cafe, The Boat Oyster Bar.
Want them to shuck your oysters for you? You can also stop at their restaurant Tony's Seafood.
$115 (Kayak Tour Only)
Kayak Tour: 8-10am
Whole Hog Experience Farm Tour: Tuesdays 11am-1pm
Tony's Seafood: Typically open until 4pm

Break up the week, with a 5-hour kayaking tour, which allows us to explore the shoreline more and enjoy lunch on the beach. After the tour head over to Nick's Cove Restaurant for their Happy Hour with beautiful views of the bay. (Local's secret: Take your food/ drink/ ice cream to the end of the pier and enjoy their boat shack.)
$175 (Kayak Tour & Beach Lunch Only)
Kayak Tour: 10-3pm (Lunch Included)
Nick's Cove Happy Hour: 3-5pm

Start your day with a 3-hour kayaking tour on Tomales Bay and then head over to Heidrun Meadery to experience their variety of naturally sparkling meads (wine made from honey rather than grapes) using the traditional French Methode Champenoise. Enjoy a guided tasting or linger with a bottle on the patio, either way, don’t forget to pack a picnic to make the most of their beautiful property.
$135 (Kayak Tour Only)
Kayak Tour: 10-1pm
Heidrun Meadery: Open every day until 5pm

End the "work week" or start your weekend early with a 2-hour kayaking tour and then head over to Mable's Restaurant at the Lodge at Marconi for their tasty brunch on the patio overlooking Tomales Bay. Brunch not your thing? You can also take a hike on the trails of the Lodge at Marconi after your tour and then hit up Mable's Happy Hour.
$115 (Kayak Tour Only)
Kayak Tour: 10-12pm
Mable's Brunch: 10-2pm
