Descriptions

Whitehouse Pool

Launching in the morning and paddling up to the Tomales Bay trail, going through the restored Giacomini Wetlands area one direction, then in the main channel of the creek for the other portion of the trip.

Miller Boat Launch

We’ll begin our journey paddling across Tomales Bay via Hog Island, but not too close, so we can observe from a safe distance resting marine mammals, birds and other wildlife, then along the shoreline to Marshall Beach for a hike up to the Marshall Beach Trail.

Drakes Estero

July - February

Option 1 - Launching at Schooner Bay and paddling out to Drakes Beach (landing well inside the mouth of the Estero to avoid strong currents).

Option 2 - Launching at Schooner Bay and paddling into Home Bay where we’ll take out near the bridge and hike a portion of the Estero Trail.
